The 2018 ‘CREATOR X MAKER’ presents original and interesting artistic methodologies that actively introduce the concept of and research on human instinct, sense, contingency, spontaneity, body, and individuality that counterpose modernity, which is based on standardization, causality and collective logic. Furthermore, the program provides a gathering with artists of various nationalities to share their individual opinions and self-help ways of practice, beyond modern categories such as nationality, race, and language.

The Gyeonggi Cultural Foundation and the Guri Culture Center provide a civil lecture, which aims to help people understand the existing regional culture, and a participatory-type workshop, through which citizens will imagine the future community together, in order to establish ‘citizen-led urban culture.’ It will be a great occasion for Guri citizens to meet researchers of regional study in diverse fields and to communicate openly and freely about the community.

《Bukhansanseong Fortress Young Archeologist Class》 is a Bukhansanseong Fortress experience program operated by the Gyeonggi Institute of Cultural Properties. Along with education on history and cultural heritages related to Bukhansanseong Fortress, the program provides archeologist work experience, Daeseomun Gate exploration, and activity with relics.

This summer, the “History Interpretation Program” is held at Bukhansanseong Fortress amid various cultural heritages and splendid natural environment. The program offers the public an opportunity to have a moment of learning, exchange, and healing together with professional lecturers at Bukhansanseong Fortress, which is nicknamed the “roofless museum.” Participants will create ‘cool’ memories at Bukhansanseong Fortress on hot summer days.

Forêt Forêt Close

The program Forêt Forêt, which takes place on green grass and under the shade of large trees at the Gyeonggi Sangsang Campus, is a playground for everyone in the forest where their hearts lie. A wide range of activity programs including a market, performance, exhibition, experience, and games are held inside and outside of the Gyeonggi Sangsang Campus at the last Saturday of each month from 1pm to 6pm. The Forêt Forêt, a forest playground in the middle of the city, invites people to create interesting memories with their children and loved ones.

G-Open Studio “Next Door Art” – Ansan Close
