    Make a study into the differences between the analogue and digital media and their attributes by taking pictures with a film camera and developing them yourself. It will help you understand what goes on when media artists work and during your daily life. This workshop led by Moojin Brothers will have you think about the changing media and its influence.

    Nam June Paik Art Center runs the education program to give youth the opportunity to volunteer and expand their realm of art and cultural experience. In the * program, youth will write a script after understanding artwork through their own lens and, based on the script, communicate with the audience.

    Participants will learn the notion of a beat, the basic unit of information, as well as the characteristics of digital media, and experience what they learn utilizing everyday media. Engaged in activities using their senses, youth will be given the chance to think about the media around them through their own lens.

    In this program, you can appreciate Nam June Paik’s experimental TV series. The participants will receive an easy explanation of the principle of TV and carry out a hands-on operation themselves. Though the activity, they will better understand the art of Paik and have an opportunity to think about the characteristics of the media and how it is changing.
