Namhansanseong World Heritage Center, Gyeonggi Cultural Foundation, and Gyeonggi Institute of Cultural Properties are jointly hosting the 2018 Namhansanseong International Symposium – research results on the heritage of fortresses and directions for their preservation and maintenance. The symposium intends to examine whether the results of research on fortress heritage including the World Heritage Namhansanseong Fortress (Historic Site No. 57) are closely linked to their preservation and maintenance, and launch a domestic cooperative network accordingly.
