Traditional Action Comedy 《Let’s Go Watch a Fight!》
For all times and places, one of the most exciting shows you can enjoy would be that of a fight.
In human history, there have been shows of fights between animals like chickens, cows, and dogs, and the gladiators in Rome would fight with a beast in Colosseum. The desire of the human race to watch fights is so strong that Forbes, the economic magazine of the US, noted UFC, where players bleed and suffer broken bones, as one of the world’s top 10 most valuable sports brands.
Here, however, you will find a fight show that is a bit odd.
At any time, in any country, the fight has been a favorite spectacle, but this time you will see that the fighters do not compete to become the strongest. Rather, they put the most value in living together in harmony.
Through Let’s Go Watch a Fight! at the Gyeonggi Children’s Museum, the key aspects of the Korean traditional comedy will be presented: cheerleading, dancing to a tune, taekkyeon (a traditional Korean martial art), attracting participation from the audience, and tumbling.
“In this fight, every audience can become the player and the judge. The audience can change the results of the fight, and they can even take part in it as a player. You will not have the slightest idea of what will happen next in this fight.”
Wouldn’t the fight for living together be required in our time, not a more brutal and violent one?
The best taekkyeon players of our time will show the fun and joy of the Korean traditional culture in an comfortable and interesting way.
