    The Nam June Paik Art Center provides educational programs for students of elementary, junior high, and high schools, and student groups with disabilities. The program visits schools aiming to arouse students’ interest in Nam June Paik’s artworks, and help them understand the world of Nam June Paik’s artworks and modern art through the intense appreciation of works and various experience activities so as to give them the opportunity to develop their creative thinking and experience arts.

    《Silhak Dasan Picnic》 is an educational program in which each school can carry out their own activities by mainly visiting the Museum of Silhak, the Historic Site of Dasan, Eco Park and other places located in Majae Village.

    The 2018 ‘CREATOR X MAKER’ presents original and interesting artistic methodologies that actively introduce the concept of and research on human instinct, sense, contingency, spontaneity, body, and individuality that counterpose modernity, which is based on standardization, causality and collective logic. Furthermore, the program provides a gathering with artists of various nationalities to share their individual opinions and self-help ways of practice, beyond modern categories such as nationality, race, and language.

    The Gyeonggi Cultural Foundation and the Guri Culture Center provide a civil lecture, which aims to help people understand the existing regional culture, and a participatory-type workshop, through which citizens will imagine the future community together, in order to establish ‘citizen-led urban culture.’ It will be a great occasion for Guri citizens to meet researchers of regional study in diverse fields and to communicate openly and freely about the community.
