Formerly the Research Center for Traditional Culture, The Center for Gyeonggi Studies extended its function as its members investigate, study, preserve, pass down, and utilize the spiritual culture and tangible/intangible cultural heritage of Gyeonggi Province. Alongside its own projects, it also receives orders for consignment, assistance, and service from external agencies. The Center for Gyeonggi Studies has the goal of articulating and establishing the identity of Gyeonggi Province by building up the archive and forming a network with the related agencies.
