Art Gyeonggi is a project designed to discover, exhibit, and distribute artwork made by Gyeonggi artists pursuant to Article 6 of the Gyeonggi Ordinance on the Establishment and Operation of Art Exchanges, which establishes an art market and nurtures distributors to help artists gain access to the art market, create an environment where they can continue to do creative activities, and promote opportunities to enjoy art. It explores various ways to help artists advance into the market by selecting and discovering Art Gyeonggi artists, selecting and supporting distributors, holding an exhibition tours around public institutions and facilities, and carrying out the art marketplace project.
