GMOMA Bin Woohyuk’s Luftzeichner (Air Painter) – Quantum Jump 2017, 4 Artists Relay Show Close

Bin Woohyuk has worked on painting forests in silence so as to shut himself out from the pain that comes with a hard life. For the last five years, the ‘German forests’ that he has painted have been a symbolic space for calmness and healing, freeing the artist from the agitations and complicated mentalities that result from adverse circumstances and dark past memories.

The Gyeonggi Cultural Foundation Lobby Gallery unveils Your time, My time, Our time, an art exhibition to herald the closing of one year and the opening of the new year from December 18, 2017 through January 26, 2018. The exhibition is intended to spark artistic discourse on the theme of "time" that slips by in our everyday lives in the works of Kim Yoonsu and Lee Chang-hoon. It serves as an opportunity to shed light on our time and thoughts on this they have gleaned in every corner of their lives.

The Gyeonggi Provincial Museum plans to hold The One Thousand Year Journey through Gyeonggi History as a special exhibition to celebrate the year 2018, the 1,000th anniversary of the naming of ‘Gyeonggi.’ In the exhibition, you will meet a fictitious character whose name is Oh Gyeong-gi, born in 1018 in Gyeonggi Province, and listen to his life’s story. This will help you to learn about the long history of Gyeonggi a bit more vividly and easily.
