Nam June Paik Art Center is running education programs for various age groups during summer vacation. This summer, we invite you to come and learn about the media, that has become a part of our lives and its essential environment. Enjoy the summer by appreciating the works of Paik and contemporary art with your family and friends.

TV Laboratory	August 7-16 (Tue.-Thur.) 2–3 pm (6 times)	15 children age 10-13	A program where the participants appreciate Nam June Paik’s experimental TV series and carry out a hands-on operation of TV, through which they understand the art of Paik, the characteristics of the media, and how it is changing.
Beat Laboratory	August 3, 10 (Fri.) 2-4 pm (2 times)	15 youth age 14-16	A program where youth participate in creative activities using common media to think about the media around them through their own lens, as well as learn the notion of a beat as the basic unit of information and the characteristic of digital media
Be an NJP Docent!	July 28- August 19 (Sat.-Sun.) 10 am-1 pm (8 sessions)	15 adolescents aged 17-19	A program where youth can become docents by appreciating artwork from their own perspectives and writing a script using their own words
Media Phenomenon	August 12, 19 (Sun.) 2-6 p.m. (2 sessions)	12 adults	A program where participants take pictures with a film camera and develop the photos by themselves, through which they explore the difference between analogue and digital media and their characteristics, as well as looking into the change of media and its influence
Picture of a Book	August 4, 11, 18 (Sat.) 2-4 p.m. (3 times)	6 teams of adults and children (aged 8-10)	A creative program where families create non-language signs after reading a book recommended by the Nam June Paik Library
Media Metabolism	Opening hours from July 28 to August 19	Any visitor	Associated with ‘Artificial Intelligence vs Artificial Metabolism’ an essay written by Nam June Paik, visitors will look into the change of media. A permanent experience program that allows visitors to think about the changes that the changing media brings about through activity sheets and objects
