History and culture courses of the 25th 《Museum Academy》 for adults operated by the Gyeonggi Provincial Museum will start on September 5. This semester will address the theme “Koreans’ lives and culture seen through ancient architecture,” and classes will be held every Wednesday for a total of 10 weeks until November 21. This course will study the Korean architecture trend through social, cultural, artistic and historical viewpoints, and the first lecture “The History of Korean Architecture” will be given by President Kim Bong-ryol of Korea National University of Arts; organized of 9 lectures and historical site visits. We hope that this course will help participants relive the space where culture and art once breathed through the foundation that our ancestors created for us, and take this opportunity to explore and discuss future living situations.
