This exhibition is designed to help preschool children overcome the fear of going to school and to develop a positive sense of anticipation. The children can experience in advance what it is like to become a grade-schooler in a first-grade classroom built in the Gyeonggi Children’s Museum.
(for children 6 to 7 years old)

– Take part in a hands-on program (details and schedule announced in the education calendar)
– Write on the blackboard
– Write down the teacher’s notes in a notebook
– Take dictation
– Look around the elementary school classroom

– Gain confidence about school life and grow a positive anticipation for it
– Become more comfortable approaching new peers and teachers
– Learn proper rules and manners
– Develop understanding of numbers, calculation skill, ability to perform tasks, reading/writing skill, and imagination
